The Transformative Energy of Daddy's Girl

I just want to say how much I'm enjoying and appreciating our Daddy's Girl project and the monthly writing workshops. This Saturday's session was well-attended and the energy was very special (as always). Our collective work is transformative. The sincere intention and determination is reflected in the writings and the sisterly love and feedback that is shared amongst all the women is encouraging and affirms that we are on the right track. This journey is like a marathon and I'm savouring the growth, healing and joy that comes, over time, with each conscious step we take.

On a very personal level, life is presenting me with many opportunities to heal, and I consider these opportunities to be sacred gifts. I definitely see and feel the healing that is taking place in my heart, in my relationship with my father, as well as other men in my life. The Daddy's Girl writing workshops challenge me to see myself and the men in my life in new ways. I'm being led to lovingly confront my own innerworkings, the ones that control my fears (and freedoms) in relationships. For this I am so grateful.

I pray that this work leads us to new sacred spaces that engenders greater love in all our relationships. I'm warmed by it all and excited about what lies ahead.
